With the sad news that Jeremy Clarkson has an aggressive form of prostrate cancer, we ask that the Government give him a knighthood for his services to farming.
With his popular Prime series of Clarksons Farm viewed worldwide, he has shown what a tough business British farming is.
Before Clarksons Farm, many of us didn't know quite how much the farmers were up against. The programme has brought us the hardships that each farmer faces with rising costs, extreme weather, foreign imports and the threat of inheritance tax on their land.
Im sure Jeremy has highlighted the farmers struggles more than any Government has done over the years and still continues to do so even with his protrate cancer diagnosis.
We ask that he is given a Knighthood for his tireless service.
