Rejected petition: Social media ban. A back door for mandatory digital ID.

Rejected on

Leave people's freedoms and liberties alone. This social media ban will effect everybody over 16 and under, this will heavily restrict the Internet for everybody and make life harder for everybody. We all know this is about control. Control of the political narrative and control of people's data.

The government need to stop pushing things nobody has asked for you are public servants but act very authoritarian, this will effectively push mandatory digital ID on anybody who wants to use any form of Internet which is absolutely everybody. Saying that you won't collect data yet in the same sentence saying you'd collect everyone's age is very contradictory and show's dishonesty this is something the people have never asked for and do not want. It's a Trojan horse for a surveillance state.
