Rejected petition: Bid Host the FIFA World Cup 2038

Rejected on

To whom this may concern. I am proposing to make a bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2038. We have enough stadiums with a capacity more than the required amount or room to expand such as Wembley, Emirates, Annfield, Ethiad, Old Trafford, Elland Road, Hillsborough, London Stadium, Villa Park, St James

,Stadium of Light and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. We also have the required transport links such as HS2, Transpennine, Northern, LNER, Eurotunnel, Eurostar a vast tube network and airports such as Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Manchester, London Gatwick and London Heathrow. We also have the budget to expand these things with the total cost being approximately 8 billion pounds. Thank you for reading this and I hope you consider this petition seriously

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about whether to bid to host international sporting events are matter for the relevant sporting body - in this case the Football Association - not the UK Government or Parliament.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
