Rejected petition: Mandatory Maximum Work and School Temperature Limit.
Rejected on
This petition suggests we have a maximum work environment temperature of 27 degrees, this may differ dependent on the physical demands and location of the job. GCSE and A-level exams should not take place in such high temperatures, specifically in full uniform (GCSE's).
The majority of European countries have maximum work and school temperatures. Why should the UK be any different? The temperatures that adults and children are expected to function and work in are utterly ridiculous. There should be a Government enforced maximum work temperature across the UK.
