Rejected petition: Call a General Election before any new Prime Minister is installed into Office

Rejected on

The Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has resigned. We ask the UK Government to call a General Election rather than let an installation of a new PM take office without a public vote, so the British people - not just MPs decide who leads the country thus Honouring Democracy!

Sir Keir Starmer has resigned as Prime Minister.
We believe the British Public, not just MPs, should choose his successor.

We call on the UK Government to hold a General Election now, instead of installing a New Prime Minister to take office without the General British Public voting for them.
