Rejected petition: Mandate upper heat limit in schools

Rejected on

There must be an upper heat limit in schools, when the inside temperature gets to 40°C or above schools must close.

Not only do students and staff struggle in high temperatures, but when indoor temperatures get above 40°C it can quickly become dangerous. People can suffer from heat stroke, collapse and are at higher risk of dehydration. There is already a lower limit on school temperatures, as historically this country would see it, but now it's getting common for extreme heat we also need to implement a upper heat limit.
