Rejected petition: A Maximum Temperature for School to Close

There should be a national temperature threshold, such as 32 or 35°C, when school must close and switch to online learning instead.
Due to more and more frequent extreme heat, there's a need for a national requirement for school to close above a threshold, such as 35°C. It's proven that learning at extremely high temperatures are really distracting and very difficult due to heat exhaustion. In addition to that, walking home at peak temperatures is an extremely difficult and unsafe, as the high temperature could impact our health.
Why was this petition rejected?
