Make air conditioning mandatory for all UK households AND schools. The summer is unbearable in the UK, especially Wales/London/Hereford/Birmingham. Making it very hard for people with poor body temperature regulation, or long term illnesses to function, as well as animals and the rest of society.
This petition is to make some form of air conditioning MANDATORY in all uk homes as a result of the recent heatwave and tragedies that have occurred due to it. People are being seriously affected and those with long term health conditions, autism, body temperature regulation issues, elderly and children are struggling to function in this heat. With summers getting hotter the risk of heat stroke and serious illnesses rises more than it ever has. It would be beneficial to include schools in this.
