Rejected petition: We ain’t built for this heat!

Rejected on

We need a form of breeze and cooling in this heat and humidity and it’s just getting worse every year. Install air cons in homes (council homes), public indoor spaces (train stations, trains, buses, buildings, everywhere) not everyone can handle this heat and afford to leave to somewhere bearable.

We simply need a way to cope with the rising heatwave, the next best thing to fans are air conditioners. Fans are running out in the stores and even at that they mostly bring out warm air. I fear this weather isn’t safe for a lot of people and obviously causing dangerous situations like overheating of vehicles and melting of materials. Offer (discounted) services to home owners, install units in public spaces, council houses are under the government, make it at effort to look after them.
