Rejected petition: Implement the recommendations of the Rape Gang Inquiry
Rejected on
To urgently implement the recommendations of the independent Rape Gang Inquiry, established by Rupert Lowe.
The independent Rape Gang Inquiry, established by Rupert Lowe, has presented a number of recommendations in its report to prevent the industrial rape and sexual exploitation of young white British girls.
We are calling on the Government to implement these recommendations as a matter of urgency.
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We do not accept petitions which call on the Government to accept recommendations from an inquiry - which it hasn't itself established (statutorily or otherwise) or has a direct duty to respond to - when it isn't clear to the person reading the petition what those recommendations entail.
If you want to resubmit a petition calling for particular recommendations, spelled out in the text, to be accepted, then we can consider that.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
