Require the Government to mandate effective cooling measures in schools, workplaces, public transport, outdoor bus stops and other public buildings to protect people during increasingly frequent and severe heatwaves.

We want the Government to require effective cooling measures in schools, workplaces, public transport, outdoor bus stops and public buildings. Heatwaves are becoming more frequent, causing thousands of heat-related deaths and increasing the risk of heatstroke, dehydration and illness. National standards are needed to protect public health.
