I want the UK government to introduce a National Graduate Employment Guarantee to ensure every UK graduate has access to paid work experience, internships or graduate employment within 12 months of completing their degree.

Thousands of graduates leave university expecting their degree to lead to a career, but many spend years applying for entry-level jobs only to be told they lack experience. Many graduate with significant student debt but have no guaranteed access to meaningful work experience. We believe every graduate should have the opportunity to gain paid work experience or graduate employment within 12 months of completing their degree through a National Graduate Employment Guarantee.
