This petition calls on the UK Government to call a General Election. The incoming Prime Minister, Andy Burnham MP, does not have a mandate from the public, having been elected by just over 24,000 electors in Makerfield. He never stood as an MP in the 2024 election on a Parliamentary Manifesto, leaving him with no actual mandate to govern the wider United Kingdom.
Therefore, any government formed by Andy Burnham is not a democratically elected government.
