We call upon the UK Government to grant a one‑off bank holiday on Monday to allow families, communities, and especially our children to fully experience and celebrate England’s World Cup journey.
We request a one‑off bank holiday on Monday so families across England can fully take part in our World Cup journey. Scotland has already been granted a national holiday for their team, and England’s children deserve the same chance to experience this moment of national pride.
A bank holiday would let families watch together, support children’s cultural experiences, and ensure fairness across the UK. England’s World Cup run is a unifying moment — our children should be able to be part of it.
