Rejected petition: Protect Access to Healthcare, Community Services, Wellbeing for the community

Rejected on

We, call upon Horsham Council to urgently review the impact of planning permission DC232242 on the existing community facilities based at Dukes Sq and Lavinia Hse. The aim was to support and provide a base for charities and community organisations delivering essential services to local residents.

Dukes Sq and Lavinia Hse were established to support and provide a base for charities and community organisations delivering essential services to local residents. Every day, older people, disabled residents, carers, volunteers and visitors rely on these facilities to access healthcare, advice, support groups, wellbeing activities and other vital community services.
We are deeply concerned that the impact of this development on these existing services has not been given sufficient weight.
