Rejected petition: Give students the Monday off after the 1am match so we can rest and focus
Rejected on
We call on the UK government to give all students the following Monday off after the England World Cup match, which is at 1 a.m. on Sunday. With a very early school start, students will get minimal sleep, and this day off will help them recover and stay focused in class.
We call on the UK government to grant all students the following Monday off school after the England World Cup match at 1 a.m. on Sunday. Many students will only get a few hours of sleep due to the late game, and this impacts their well-being, concentration, and ability to learn effectively the next day
