Make Misogyny a hate crime, and offer more support to victims of Misogyny.
Gender is a protected characteristic, and therefore means that discriminating against someone due to to their gender should be punishable just like racism and homophobia is. If Misogyny becomes a hate crime, it will tackle the root cause of violence against women, ensuring that all women feel safe.

The Government is currently seeking to legislate (through the Crime and Policing Bill, now the Crime and Policing Act 2026) to add ‘sex’ to the list of personal characteristics covered by aggravated hate crime offences in the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
