Recognise the UK State Pension as an earned pension, not a benefit
Workers paid NI believing they were funding a secure retirement and an earned pension built on years of contribution
This is about fairness, dignity. It asks the SP be described and treated as earned over years of work and NI paid
People have worked hard, paid their “stamps”, planned lives around the promise of a pension, trusted contributions would be respected. Many now feel that promise has been weakened as pension ages rise, rules change, and retirement becomes less certain.
If already retired, near retirement, or still paying stamp, this affects all. Future generations deserve clarity, confidence contributions will be honoured.
