Give Edwards / Trisomy 18 — including mosaic forms — same legal recognition & guaranteed NHS care pathways as Down’s Syndrome Act 2022. End unfair, unsafe gaps: no automatic discharge; ensure named neuro disability leads & joined up lifelong care based on need, not diagnosis name.

Edwards / Trisomy 18 — including mosaic — is lifelong, complex & multi system, but no legal duty like Down’s Syndrome Act 2022. Often wrongly called “short term”, leading to unsafe early discharge from therapies & paediatrics, no named neurodisability lead & preventable harm. Support should follow need, not diagnosis prevalence. Equal law = equal safe, joined up care.
