Rejected petition: Air condition schools
Rejected on
We consistently see temperatures of above 30 degrees which has caused school closures due to poor infrastructure meaning pupils are missing out on education and parents missing work to look after children. Air conditioning should be within every school and funded by the government.
Uk climate has significantly changed over the last decade with 30 plus degrees consistently from May through to September no longer being a rarity but rather a constant. Schools close due to lack of infrastructure to cope with heat meaning pupils miss out on education and parents missing work to look after them. Air conditioning should be put into all schools
