Rejected petition: Stop Zoe Slater from being killed off in EastEnders

I would like the government to step in and prevent the character Zoe Slater, portrayed by Michelle Ryan, from being killed off in EastEnders. It is an injustice to kill off such an important legacy character and this decision needs to be reversed
Michelle Ryan began portraying Zoe Slater in 2000, a member of the groundbreaking Slater family. The storyline in which Zoe finds out Kat is her mother is one of the most remembered and referenced storylines in the shows history and the quote
“You ain’t my mother”
“Yes I am”
Is still referenced daily
It was reported this week that Michelle Ryan had left the show and that Zoe would be killed off. This decision is a disgrace and I am starting this petition to try and get the decision reversed.
