Make accredited domestic abuse, coercive control and trauma-informed training mandatory for social workers and family court professionals, with regular updates, so every worker has high-quality training to safeguard survivors and children.

Some survivors and children are still being failed, misunderstood and victim-blamed by professionals without specialist knowledge. Every social worker must receive high-quality, regularly updated training to improve safeguarding, challenge harmful assumptions and prevent unsafe decisions.
