Rejected petition: #contribution counts
Rejected on
We want to make a salary system based on contribution to society rather than merit.
Every day, key workers dedicate themselves to caring for others, educating future generations, and keeping essential services running. Their work is vital to society, yet many continue to face pay that does not reflect the importance of their roles.
We urge the Government to increase investment in key worker pay, helping to ensure that teachers, nurses, emergency service personnel, carers, and other essential workers receive fair and competitive wages. To keep up with people that contribute less
