With more Data Centres on the rise, the government should be working to find ways to minimise the environmental impact and strain these centres put on nature and global warming.
Data Centres are already destroying animal habitats and housing areas in countries such as the USA. They tarnish water sources near by making it unsafe to drink, produce constant noise pollution and consume fossil fuels on a large scale. In no sustainable way, is this going to help the fight against global warming and climate change. Before building more or any in the UK, the government should be finding ways to minimise these environmental impacts.
