Rejected petition: Scrap all mandatory DEI training especially in the Public Sector

Petition: End Mandatory Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Training and Ensure Equal Treatment for Everyone

We call on the UK Government to end the use of mandatory Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) training across the public sector

The Equality Act 2010 already provides legal protection against discrimination on the basis of protected characteristics such as race, sex, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, age and gender reassignment. Employers should be enforcing these laws consistently rather than introducing additional programmes that many people believe divide employees into different groups.
