From experience I have seen how children are accepting of disabilities if introduced to them at an early age.
They are more compassionate and excepting of those with differences, visual or hidden
This could be included as part of PSHE or in special assemblies, so that disabilities are don't need to be hidden away any more or avoided.
This would help with accepting other children with differences and children with disabilities realise they are not alone and don't feel isolated.
The younger it is introduced the easier they accept
