Rejected petition: Remove VAT from vet bills so pets get the care they need.

Rejected on

My goal is to make veterinary care more affordable by removing VAT from vet bills. This would help more pet owners access essential treatment without facing impossible financial decisions, while improving animal welfare and ensuring pets can receive the care they need when they become ill.

Veterinary treatment is a vital service for animals, but many owners are struggling with increasing costs and unexpected bills. Removing VAT from vet care would reduce the financial pressure on families and allow more people to seek treatment sooner, rather than delaying care because of affordability concerns. This change would support responsible pet ownership, protect animal welfare, and help ensure that financial barriers do not prevent animals from receiving necessary medical attention
