Rejected petition: STOP the ANPR Cameras in Carterton Rock Farm Ward!

Rejected on

Several ANPR Cameras are being installed in and around Carterton Rock Farm Ward in the summer of 2026 by Oxfordshire County Council (OCC). Resident's are against these cameras for a number of reasons and signing this petition will support us trying to stop them being installed and get OCC to listen.

The several ANPR Cameras will move the issues of school parking elsewhere onto other roads around the schools in Rock Farm and potentially make it more dangerous for children going to school and for drivers.
OCC has done little to engage with residents and Carterton Town Council regarding this plan. The schools and residents feel OCC needs to look at other options to make the roads safer for the children going to school.
