Build a new train station in Wells, Somerset, to provide essential rail connectivity for residents, commuters, and visitors. Wells is the only city in England without a railway station, which limits access to employment, education, healthcare, and sustainable transport options.
Wells is the only city in England without a railway station, leaving residents, workers and visitors without direct rail access. This limits access to jobs, education and services, and increases car use. A new station would improve connectivity, support the local economy and reduce congestion. I want the UK Government to commit to delivering a train station in Wells and work with local authorities to make it happen.
