Rejected petition: Call an immediate general election 2026

Rejected on

Call an immediate General Election so the public can choose a Government with a new mandate. We oppose rising taxes, the cost of living crisis, uncontrolled immigration, increasing violent crime and wasteful public spending. Let the people decide the UK’s future.

We call for an immediate General Election. Many voters believe the Government no longer has a clear mandate after major policy changes. We are concerned by rising taxes, the cost of living, immigration, crime and proposals such as No.10 North, which were not put to voters. The British people deserve the chance to vote on a new manifesto and decide the UK’s future.
