Rejected petition: Ban posting children under 16 online.

Rejected on

Ban the posting of under 16s online in turn with the social media ban for under 16s, they lay hand in hand. Banning children from being posted will keep then safer and prevent them from being exploited.

Posting children online is extremely naive and dangerous. There are predators that will take this content and manipulate it to suit their needs such as creating AI images that can be sent worldwide.
Additionally, posting children online can cause harm in the sense of strangers knowing the children’s names, locations, schools, favourite places to visit. Too much information is put online about minors who have no idea of the consequences. Banning posting of children online will make them safer.
