We call on the Government to be firm and legislate to introduce a mandatory 5-year minimum custodial sentence for anyone found guilty of carrying any bladed weapon, including bladed weapons that are religious articles.
We believe knife crime is a huge problem throughout our country and following high-profile incidents in the news, I can see no reason as to why this law shouldn’t be introduced.
