Rejected petition: Why pay BBC fee to watch live programmes on subscription TV like SKY, Virgin etc

Stop the BBC charging for services that they are not providing I.e live sport on subscription channels like SKY, Virgin, Netflix etc. Why should we pay the BBC if we never use it and then pay again for the subscription channels.
Out of date BBC controling what we pay to watch. Out of date corporation with poor quality, constant repeats, old films, poor choice of live sport and should be privatised and no longer receive licence fees or government backing.
Why was this petition rejected?
