Open Allow artistic swimming as a GCSE and A-level option for PE coursework.

Current coursework options for GCSE and A-Level PE include many options, but do not recognise Artistic Swimming as one, even though it is a skilled Olympic sport.

Not having it as an option prevents artistic swimmers from being able to count their specialist sport as part of their skills.

Artistic (formerly synchronised) swimming has elements of dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, & swimming - all in PE curriculums.
Athletes possess precision, endurance, flexibility & coordination, all while performing intricate routines in water.
We are as passionate about artistic swimming as many are about football, netball, or athletics.
Recognising artistic swimming validates hard work & promotes inclusivity & diversification within sport curriculums.
