Rejected petition: Halt the planning of the Clearstone AI Data Centre in Ebbsfleet, Kent
Rejected on
The proposed construction of an AI data centre in Ebbsfleet, Kent threatens to disrupts the environment, create noise pollution, droughts and permanently affect our community for the worse. This location sees a significant amount of travellers commuting towards London, a route already under stress.
Our local infrastructure, particularly the power grid, is stretched thin, and the introduction of a massive, power-hungry facility will only exacerbate this situation, leading to potential power shortages and further disruptions.
The noise pollution the ongoing operation of such a facility could significantly diminish the quality of life for local residents. Let's come together to protect our home. Sign this petition to urge local authorities to reconsider the location of this AI data centre.
