Create legislation to protect children's privacy, dignity and future consent online by requiring safeguards before vulnerable or identifiable content is publicly shared and giving young people the legal right to request removal of content shared about them during childhood.

Children are increasingly having personal, vulnerable and identifiable moments shared online before they are old enough to understand or consent. Medical experiences, emotional struggles and private childhood moments can become part of a permanent digital footprint. This petition calls for legislation to ensure children's dignity, privacy and future autonomy are considered before such content is shared and to give young people greater control over content published about them during childhood.
