Open Review and increase post-Brexit funding to regions to replace EU funding

Commission an independent review comparing EU funding before Brexit to UK regions such as Cornwall, with Government funding since. If the review finds these regions have received less long-term investment, publish the findings and ensure future funding reflects the economic needs of each.

Before Brexit, Cornwall received substantial EU funding to support businesses, skills, infrastructure, regeneration and local communities. Many people believe the replacement funding has not matched the level or long-term certainty previously available. We believe an independent review should compare funding before and after Brexit, publish the findings and ensure that each region receives investment that reflects its economic needs.
