Open petition: Statutory Public Inquiry: University Corruption, Toxic Culture & Staff Silencing
Created by Zella Parry
Closes on
We urge the Government to establish a Statutory Public Inquiry into English universities. We believe that institutional self-preservation hides corruption, systemic governance failures and toxic cultures.
We call for a duty of candour to compel evidence, expose any use of NDAs to silence staff, and enforce reform.
We believe that systemic governance failures have resulted in staff bullying, victimisation and discrimination, and the misuse of NDAs are silencing whistleblowers. An inquiry must urgently compel evidence, scrutinise whether public funds have been used for legal settlements, and enforce structural reform.
