Rejected petition: Ban Meta sunglasses, stop psychological harm and sexual exploitation of children
Rejected on
Ban all smart glasses with immediate effect, stop psychological harm and sexual exploitation of children. We ask the UK Government to introduce legislation to ban the sales of AI enabled sunglasses that can discreetly record videos, without individuals knowledge
We want to protect our children and babies from unwanted surveillance. We believe that wearable cameras present new risks because recordings are made without people realising. Parents should be able to take children to parks, shops, beaches and other public places without a concern that they may be secretly recorded
