Nursing Associates are regulated healthcare professionals who work alongside registered nurses and multidisciplinary teams across NHS services. They complete accredited training and undertake a range of clinical responsibilities. However, in our experience, access to nursing staff banks varies between NHS organisations, meaning Nursing Associates with the same qualifications and skills may not have the same opportunities for bank work, flexible working, career development or service contribution.
