Legally require employers to include a clear salary in all job adverts and end the inclusion of vague phrases such as “competitive salary” and “salary dependent on experience”. We believe jobseekers deserve to know the expected pay before investing time in an application or interview.

Phrases such as “competitive salary” should no longer be accepted as a substitute for actual pay information. Salary transparency could save jobseekers time, reduce wasted applications and interviews, improve pay fairness and give people the information they need to make informed career decisions before applying.
