Rejected petition: Apply for the United Kingdom to Rejoin the European Union as a Full Member

Rejected on

Formally apply under Article 49 of the Treaty on European Union for the UK to rejoin the European Union as a full member without delay.

The OBR confirms Brexit costs 4% of long-term GDP, draining vital tax revenue. Leaving the Single Market added crippling border friction on UK exporters and divided our internal market via the Irish Sea border. Outside the EU, UK firms must obey EU rules without having a vote or veto, while our 80% services economy and creative sectors lost crucial market access, passporting, and mobility. Rejoining eliminates trade barriers, heals the union, and restores British prosperity and influence.
