The government plans to introduce new AI data centers in Northern Ireland. Supercomputers meant to aid Generative AI. Stop AI data centers from harming the land, consuming large bodies of water, and consuming electricity that are valuable to the people of Northern Ireland.
GreenScale is a company that wants to construct a new AI data center with a twin center in Donegal. Stormont is considering this right now until October 2026. All to benefit Amazon, ChatGPT, and others.
Energy bills in the area WILL skyrocket for electricity you might not be able to use depending on your provider, Large amounts of clean water will be consumed that you will not be able to drink. Sign this petition to make the government reconsider adding new AI data centers.
