To allow farming, construction and land management to use all double-cab pick-ups as N1 light goods vehicles, and not classed as company cars. Government databases know which businesses sit within those trades so cross references can be made between DVLA and HMRC to ensure rules are not broken.
All double-cab pick-ups used as company vehicles within the much-valued farming, land management and all construction sectors to retain their vehicle's classification as N1 light goods commercial.
People in suits are penalising those in overalls, hard hats and safety boots, and creating more financial burden upon them by changing the aforementioned pick-ups’ light goods vehicle classification in April 2029, meaning they will be classed as company cars. They are light goods vehicles, not cars!
