Legislate mandatory minimum staffing rules for hospitality. Require at least two staff members on front-of-house shifts. Ban employers from forcing lone receptionists to run venues alone, facing abuse and security risks without physical backup. Stop employers from relying on lone-working safety devices that frequently fail in emergencies. Ban unsafely combining roles; workers must not handle check-ins, building maintenance, and cafe/bar food or drink service simultaneously.
