A mandatory three-year custodial sentence for anyone caught carrying a knife or other bladed article in public, without lawful reason. The law aims to deter knife carrying, strengthen consequences and prevent our children’s lives being taken. This could be known as Archie’s Law.

No family should endure losing a loved one to knife crime. My son was just 19 when his life was tragically taken after a night out in Kingston in 2020. I lost my only child.

We need stronger measures to deter knife carrying and keep our children safe. Please sign and share this petition supporting serious consequences for carrying a knife or bladed article in public.
