Vets UK-wide falsely claim law changed — blocking pain relief, refusing full antibiotics, forcing daily vet visits owners can manage themselves. The Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013 do NOT ban owner-administration, bulk supplies, or third-party prescriptions. 60 Danilon sachets = £90–£104 from suppliers — yet vets charge nearly £100 for just 6. This price-gouging delays treatment and harms welfare. Law has NOT changed — only practice policies have. We need clear public guidance.
