Because the UK governments destroyed victims criminal case files in the transition from paper to digital filing in the 1990's no funding was provided to support victims of the cica same roof rule uk compensation scandal. 2 of the 20 iicsa recommendations directly relate to this situation.
Many victims have been retraumatised and further damaged doing compensation decades after being victims of convicted familial child abuse in their childhoods.
