Open petition: Require free earplugs at live music and night club venues

Created by Florence Williams
Closes on

Make night clubs and pubs legally have to give out free ear plugs and advertise this in their venues. This is to help reduce the risks of tinnitus and spread awareness about hearing damage.

According to the Royal National Institute of Deaf People (RNID), 83% of Gen Z adults have reported they have signs of hearing damage such as buzzing, ringing or muffled hearing, after attending night clubs or live events. This petition is to make these venues legally have to give out and advertise free ear plugs, in order to reduce the risk of hearing damage in young people and help spread awareness of the severity of this issue.
