Rejected petition: Stop the Eccles 24/7 Warehouse

Rejected on

Stop the proposed 24/7 warehouse development in Eccles and require an independent investigation into the former chemical plant site, including comprehensive testing for soil contamination and potential environmental risks, before any further construction is allowed to proceed.

Residents in Eccles, Salford are deeply concerned about the proposed 24/7 warehouse development on a former chemical plant site. Residents were unaware of the development until construction began. We are calling for the warehouse to be stopped and for a fully independent investigation of the site, including comprehensive soil testing for possible chemical contamination. Residents deserve transparency, answers and reassurance that the land is safe before any further development takes place.
